A brief note:
This transcription of the transcribed register of the Prospect Hill Cemetery is not an exact copy of all of the information contained within the actual record or of the transcribed record. There was not enough room to include the cause of death, which was listed in many cases. There were approximately 2,000 burials recorded from 1858 to 1901. 1902 was also included but only contained a few months.
The actual and the transcribed record were in chronological order. This is presented in alphabetical order.
Except in rare instances I have transcribed the information exactly as I found it.
There were transcription errors from the original, and I'm sure there are some in there of my own, so if you have questions about any of the names found on these records, feel free to contact me.
