JOHN YORK DIES SUDDENLY
John York prominent resident of Guilderland Center, died suddenly yesterday (June 14) at his home in that village. Mr. York was born Oct 29, 1889, the son of Elva York and Anna B. Crounse.
Mr. York is survived by his wife, the former Alta E. Smith; his mother, Mrs. Anna B. York; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley Crounse, and two granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Fredendall Funeral home, Altamont. Rev. Floyd Nagel, pastor of the Helderberg Reformed church, will officiate.
