Notes for Grace GREEN
UTICA HERALD-DISPATCH, TUESDAY EVENING, OCTOBER 2, 1908
Grace E., widow of George Stephenson, died at the home of her son, Leon Stephenson, 601 Armstrong avenue home last evening, after an illness of about a year, in her 64th year. The greater portion of her life was spent in this village, where she attended the Methodist Church. She was born in Utica. She left this place last fall and went to resied with a daughter in Utica and about four weeks ago went to her son’s home in Rome. She leaves six children, Robert of Whitesboro, Leon and George of Rome, James of Utica, and Mrs. Grace Overacker and Miss Maud Stephenson of Utica: Three brothers, F.H., W.S., and H.B. Walker of Rome, and a sister, Mrs. Rose Owens of Cleveland O. Her husband died about ten years ago.
