POPULAR YOUNG COUPLE WEDDED IN PRETTY CEREMONY
Last evening in St. Paul’s rectory, Whitesboro, a very pretty marriage ceremony was performed by Rev. W.H. Slaven in which Miss Esther F. Gill, daughter of of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gray of Highland avenue, became the bride of Raymond Stephenson Overacker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Riddell of Cemetery street Frankfort. After the ceremony the bridal party returned to the home of the bride, where a reception was held. The house was prettily decorated in augumn foliage for the occasion.
The bride was charmingly gowned in a green broad cloth traveling suit with hat to match, and carried bride roses. She was attended by her sister, Mrs. Agnes Mott, who was prettily attired in green satin with hat to match, and carried pink carnations. The groom was attended by his brother, Elton C. Overacker.
Both bride and groom are well known and popular young people and have a host of friends who wish them every happiness. The groom is employed in the Harnet street stove store. They received a number of beautiful gifts including, silver and glass, linen and furniture. After their honeymoon spent in the east, Mr. and Mrs. Overacker will make their home for the present with the bride’s parents.
