LIVE IN ATLANTIC AFTER HONEYMOON
Walnut-Mr. and Mrs. George McNary Jr. will be at home at 324 ½ Chestnut St., Atlantic following a short wedding trip.
Mrs. McNary, the former Marlayne Sorensen, is the daughter of Mrs. Elma Sornsen. The bridggroom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. George McNary of Atlantic.
The wedding took place Saturday evening at Peace Evangelical and Reformed Church, Walnut.
The bride’s gown of white crystalette and lace-over-satin featured a skirt fashioned with a long peplum of lace falling into a chapel length train and highlighted by a large crystalette bow. She carried a white orchid with stephanotis on her Rainbow Bible.
Her uncle, O.H. Sornsen of Harlan, gave her away.
Miss Virginia Petersen of San Mateo, Calif., was maid of honor, she wore a royal blue ballerina length gown of crystalette and lace featurig an empire waistline. She carried a colonial bouquet of white carnations.
Howard Gregersen of Atlantic was best man. Bernal Gregersen of Walnut and William F. Daw of Algona ushered.
A reception was held in the church parlors.
