FRED OVEROCKER
Well known resident of Yorkville died at his home early today.
Yorkville, Jan. 27-Fred Overocker a well known resident of Yorkville died this morning at 4:30 o’clock in his late home, Oatley avenue after a prolonged illness. He was born in New York Mills in 1862 and went West when he was 17 years old. Oh his return he was married in 1892 to Miss Lettie Farr. He wa a member of the Carpenters Union in Whitesboro and it was while working at his trade in Utica last July that he fell and received injuries which eventually resulted in his death.
Mr. Overocker was a man who was popular among his fellow men and his death will be a matter of keen regret and sorrow to all who knew him. His is survive by his widow and the following sons and daughters: Edgar F., George F., Ira C., Esther and Ruth Overocker. He also leaves two brothers and four sisters, who are: Edgar of Demont, Ind., William of Streator, Ill., Mrs. George Fink of Kankakee, Ill., Mrs Ule of Storer Ia. and Mrs. Joseph Hinch, also of Iowa
