BLAWAT-SIXBEY WEDDING TAKES PLACE AT ALFRED
Alfred, June 16-The marriage of Miss Marianne Sixbey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl D. Sixbey of Mayville, and Michael Blawat of Alfred, formerly of Stamford, Conn. Took place here Wednesday afternoon, three hours after the bridegroom was graduated from Alfred University.
The ceremony was held on the lawn of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity of which Mr. Blawat is a member. Dr. Booth C. Davis, president of Alfred officiated and was assisted by W. H. Renwick of Gated, Allegany County Judge.
The attendants were Miss Marietta Sixbey, sister of the bride and George Tyler of Alfred.
A wedding luncheon was served at the fraternity house to thirty guests. During the day the couple left on a wedding trip for New York. They will reside in Alfred.
