Fink, Winifred Ann WATERVLIET Winifred Ann Fink, 58, of Watervliet, passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter's. She was surrounded with the love of her family at the time of her passing. Born in Albany on August 18, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Harold Merle and Marcia Ann (Bouton) Crosby. She was raised and educated in Albany and then resided in Cohoes for 24 years prior to Watervliet. Winnie was employed as a supervisor for the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles in Albany for 30 years, a position from which she retired from in 2003. She was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Latham where she was also the church secretary for the past several years. She also enjoyed traveling. Her life was dedicated to her family and loved ones and they were the center of her life. Winnie is survived by her longtime companion, John Timberlin of Watervliet; her loving children, Marcia A. (Frenchy) Loup-rette of Esperance, Lisa (Bill) Arsenault of Averill Park, Ed (Christine) Fink of Ballston Spa as well as her extended family Valtina (Dennis) Cuccurullo of Rotterdam and Frederick (Marie) Timberlin of Watervliet. She is also survived by her nine cherished grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Cora Hoff-man and Fanny Kirker. Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham and at 11:00 from St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 129 Old Loudon Rd., where a celebration of Winnie's life will be officiated by Rev. Ron Harrison, pastor. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will take place in Memory's Garden Cemetery in Colonie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made in her name to St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 129 Old Loudon Rd., Latham, NY 12110.
