Belated announcement is made of the marriage of George L. Sixbery of this city and Miss Arene G. Myers of Durhamville. Their wedding occurred on Sept 12 at the parsonage of the First Methodist Episcopal church, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. James E. Allen. The groom formerly lived at Cleveland but of late has been employed here.

OBITUARY
GEORGE SIXBERY
DURHAMVILLE-George Sixbery, 50, owner of the Hotel Six, this village, died Friday, Oct. 11, 1935 at Oneida Public Hospital following a shock suffered a few hours before.
He was born near Watertown and had lived in this area since a young man. He operated the hotel for 15 years.
Mr. Sixbery belonged to Oneida Lodge of Elks, Durhamville Lodge of Odd Fellows, Durhamville Volunteer Fire Department and the Foresters. He was a former Democratic committeeman.
Surviving are his widow, who was Olive Myers; one daughter, Eleanor M. Sixbery; three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Morenus, Cleveland, NY; Mrs. Ernest Evans and Mrs. Jack Grabowski, both of Syracuse; two brothers, Oscar Sixbery, Oneida, steward at the Moose Club, and Albert Sixbery of Cleveland, NY
