DEATH STOPPED JOURNEY
Taken ill On Street, Young Man Dies in Hospital a Few Hours Later
Claude H. Overacker will not go west as intended, for death ended all his plans. Mr. Overacker resided at 14 Cooper street and until about a week ago was employed at the International Hunter Company’s plant as a radiator mounter. Being of employment was irksome and he had expressed his determination to go back west. He was born at Dreston, Ill, 32 years ago and spent his early life in that locality before coming to Utica about 17 years ago. But fate was against him. While at the corner of Cooperand Cornelia streets, about 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon he was ?efad with a fainting spell. In the police ambulance he was hurried to the General Hospital, where death ensued about seven hours later. About 10 years ago Mr. Overacker married Mrs. Martha Stevener. Besides his wife he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Sadie Overacker of 16 Cooper street, and one brother, Floyd E. Overacker of Chicago, Ill. The young man was loyal in his friendships and his sudden death brings keen regret to a wide circle.
