Robert "Bob" E., Sr. Smith
Robert "Bob" E. Smith, Sr., 72, died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at Carson Health Care, Inc. in Carson City, Nevada.He was born August 5, 1928 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to parents, Roland Luke Smith and Grace Fern McNary.
Bob lived in Fallon for 36 years and graduated from Lodi Union High School in 1946. He was a life member Golden Eagle of NRA and instrumental in starting the NRA banquets in Fallon. In 1983 started the 1st Chapter of Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship in Fallon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Merle Smith.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Molly Smith; son, Robert Smith, Jr.; daughter, Kelli Kelley all of Fallon; son, Gerald Smith of Battle Mountain; grandchildren, Marcia and Wesley Smith; Thaddeus and Jessica Smith; Shasta and Miles Kelley; Merria Lyverse; great grandchildren, Shallena; Joseph and Felicia Lyverse; brothers, Arnold Smith of Colorado Springs; William Smith of Lodi, Calif.; Lloyd Smith of Redding, California.
