MR. OVEROCKER, RETIRED RR ENGINEER, DIES
Arthur J. Overocker, North Hudson Avenue, Stillwater died Wednesday at his residence after a long illness. He was born in Hemstreet Park, the son of the late William and Eleen Overocker but had been a resident of Stillwater most of his life. He was an engineer for the Boston and Maine Railroad for 27 years. He was a member of St. Peter’s Church and a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Engineers.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lesson Overocker; five sons, Arthur J. Overocker Jr., James, William, Robert and Thomas Overocker, all of Stillwater and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:30 am from the John P. Noonan Funeral Home, 406 Park Ave., Mechanicville and 9 am from St. Peter’s Church were a Requiem High Mass will be celebrated. Burial in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
