Miss MacNary Becomes Mrs. William Lamont Love, Jr.
The wedding of Miss Alice Harden MacNary and William Lamont Love Jr. was solemnized at 8:30 last evening at the West End Presbyterian Chapel 165 W. 105th st., Manhattan by the Rev. Dr. A. Edward Kelgwin, pastor of the church.
The Bride gowned in a white satin trimmed with rose point lace and pearls both heirlooms handed down for generations to the brides of the old Stott family of Brookly, was given away by her uncle, Herbert Stott of Ridgewood, J.J. The bride’s mother, formerly Miss Florence Louise Stott of Brooklyn, was married in 1895 in the Church of the Redeemer, Atlantic and 4th aves.
Miss Florence Emily MacNary, sister of the bride, acted as her maid of honor, and Miss Ethel Love, sister of the bridegroom and Miss Agnes E. Margetts were the bridesmaids.
A reception at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Florence L. MacNary, 420 W. 113th st., immediately followed the ceremony.
Mr. Love is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William L. Love of Brooklyn and Sayville, L.I. and resides at 240 Prospect pl. After a short honeymoon, Mr. and Mrs. Love will reside in Brooklyn.
