Notes for Joseph CARY
Joseph is buried at Alcove Cemetery in Coeymans. He is within the same plot as Rachel Van Zandt Cary, the first wife of Samuel Cary. Several of Rachel and Samuel's children are buried there as well as Emma Cary, a child of Samuel and his second wife, Betsey.
Next to Joseph is Jonas P. Cary who died on March 5, 1826, his age appears to be 18 years, 2 months, and 18 days.
Joseph's marker reads: In memory of Joseph Cary who died November 7, 1825, age 66 years. There is enough room on either side of his marker for another burial, but there is no marker there now if there ever was one.
