Dorothy S. Barger RAVENA Dorothy S. Barger, 89, died Friday, May 14, 2004 at St. Peter's Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Brooklyn, she came to this area at age 19. Dorothy was employed at the former Frangella Mushroom Company in Ravena and the former Edgemore Nursing Home in New Baltimore. She enjoyed bowling and the activities of her family. Dorothy was the wife of the late Ralph W. Barger Sr.; mother of Ralph W. (Diane) Barger of Coeymans Hollow, Doris T. (Ivan) Millett of Alcove and the late Frank N. Barger, whose wife Tealia of Creola, Ala. survives; dear friend of Teddy Irwin of Ravena; also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call at Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral Mass will be offered on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Burial will follow in Alcove Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Ravena Rescue Squad, PO Box 144, Ravena, NY 12143 will be appreciated.
