Coshocton Tribune, Coshocton, Ohio June 25, 1969
Miss Sue Ann McNary and James Lawrence Kempf were united in marriage Saturday, June 14, by Rev. Robert S. Lawrence, uncle of the bridegroom and pastor of the Millersport Methodist Church.
The ceremony took place before the altar of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, which was decorated with vases of white gladiolus and yellow daisies.
Miss Conny Claybaker presented a program of wedding music.
Parents of the couple are Mr. And Mrs. Paul W. McNary, 1889 Bayberry Lane and Mr. And Mrs. Ralph C. Kempf, 446 N. Ninth St.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attired in an Empire A-line gown of organza and taffeta with a scalloped detachable train. Her two-tiered veil of nylon tulle was held in place by a crown of sequing. She carried a white orchid surrounded by daisies.
As her sister’s maid of honor, Pam McNary wore a gown of turquoise chiffon over yellow taffeta with a matchcing turquoise headpiece. Her bouquet was of yellow roses.
