The marriage of Miss Winifred Allman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Allman, Route 4, and Gordon McNary, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McNary, Route 2, has been announced.
The ceremony took place November 3, 1939 in Pennsylvania.

RICHARDSON, Texas - Clarence Gordon McNary was born Dec. 26, 1921, in Coshocton, and passed away March 8, 2005.
He was a graduate of Coshocton High School, a World War II Army Veteran who served in Europe, was employed by Steel Ceiling in Coshocton until 1965 when he moved to Garland, Texas, and worked for Sears as a service technician until he retired in 1990.
He was a member of the VFW Post 2040 in Coshocton.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; son, Clarence G. McNary Jr.; daughter, Leila M. McNary; three sisters; and one brother.
He is survived by his wife of almost 65 years, March 16, 2005, Winifred McNary; daughter, Jean (Gordon P.) Yates of Garland, Texas; sister, Gayle Anne (Dick) Miller of Oakland, Md.; grandson, Lance Gordon Yates of Nashville, Tenn.; special nephew, like a son, Virgil Evans and wife, Linda of Harper, Texas; special girls like daughters, Fran Krindred and Shirley Grimes of Carrollton, Texas; special brothers and sisters, Ed and Mary Allen Allman of North Carolina, Mary Bordenkircher of Coshocton, Allen and Colleen Allman of Phoenix, Ariz., and Nancy and Delman Swaggard of Louisville; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2005, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 600 S. Jupiter, Richardson, Texas.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today, Thursday, March 10, at Restland Funeral Home.
