DAUGHTER OF FORMER IONIA RESIDENT WEDS
Rev. George W. McNary of Little Falls, Minn., formerly of Ionia, wrote Mrs. C.T. Halbert of the marriage of his daughter, Patricia.
She was married at the First Congregational church, of which her father is pastor, to Bruce Gregory. There were 500 guests and a member of the congregation insisted upon paying the expense of the wedding.
The groom’s father, Rev. Gregory of Laguna Beach, Calif. Gave the benediction by long distance on the phone. The couple are both students at the University of Minnesota.
Rev. McNary, who lived at Ionia in his youth, has been in Little Falls 15 years. Patricia is his only child.
