COLONIE Services will be held Tuesday for Frances Sommer Blaser, 96, of Albany County Nursing Home, who died Thursday in the nursing home.
Mrs. Blaser was born in Schenectady. She had lived in the Capital Region all of her life.
She had worked for Greenwood Printing in Albany as a binder for several years, and also worked for the Macqua Co. for a few years. She also worked as a private cook.
Mrs. Blaser was a former member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Guilderland, and was a member of the Altamont Senior Citizens.
She was the widow of Orville Blaser.
Survivors include a daughter, Eleanor Hampele of Altamont; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Bond Funeral Home, Broadway and Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Schenectady.
There will be no calling hours
