CLIFTON PARK Robert M. Overocker, 51, of Lapp Road died Friday at his residence.
Mr. Overocker was born in Albany. He lived in Ballston Lake for 10 years before moving to Clifton Park in 1980.
He was a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College, where he received an associate degree in construction engineering.
Mr. Overocker was a site supervisor with Stonewood Development for the past six years. He was previously a contractor sales representative at Bellevue Builders Supply in Rotterdam for 13 years.
Mr. Overocker was a director of the Albany Area Builders Association. He was a member of the state Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders. He also was also president of the Antique and Classic Boat Society, Adirondack Chapter.
Survivors include his wife, Jean M. Hoffman; two daughters, Jennifer Overocker of Ballston Lake and Whitney H. Overocker of Clifton Park; two half-brothers, H. Britt Overocker of Latham and Robert Overocker of Mechanicville; and his parents, Robert E. Overocker of Latham and Margaret Baldes of Anaheim, Calif.
A service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Bowen Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham.
Burial will be in Albany Rural Cemetery, Colonie.
Calling hours are from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
