SIGSBY, Leona E. - Age 91, of Clio, died Thursday, September 4, 1997 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held 1PM Saturday, September 6, 1997 at Reigle Funeral Home, G-5501 West Pierson Rd., Rev. Roger L. Colby officiating. Visitation will be held from 2-4PM and 7-9PM Friday and from 10AM until the time of service on Saturday. Burial will follow at Montrose Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Methodist Church. Mrs. Sigsby was born August 1, 1906 in Arcadia, MI, the daughter of Charles William and Lenora (Brown) Miller. She was the youngest of six girls and resided in Flint since 1926. She attended Baker College of Business and was a bookkeeper for Claude Hommes Insurance Agency for 45 years. She married Glenn A. Sigsby on July 20, 1963. He preceded her in death August 13, 1978. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and the Y.W.C.A. Surviving are: nieces, Donna and husband Ronald Nelson of Clio, Ruth and husband Bernard Dunn of Davison and Jeri Mathews of Davison; nephews, Wendell Babcock of Grand Rapids, MI and Clare Firman of Missouri; sisters-in-law, Estella Malloy of Flint and Edna Whittemore of Lansing and many friends.
