MRS. NINA ELFSTROM
Mrs. Nina Flora Elfstrom, 48, of 4301 Ave. L died at 12:40 am Thursday in John Sealy Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 4 pm Saturday at J. Levy ^ Bro. Funeral Home, the Rev. Lawrence Burgdorf officiating. Bruial in Grace Memorial Park.
She was born in La Porte, Tex., Dec 31, 1920, and had been a long time resident of Galveston.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, the ladies auxiliary for little league baseball, and was employed at the Texas Medical Branch
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Al Elfstrom of Galveston; two daughters, Mrs. Kathy Sorrentino and Mrs. Karen Barger, both of Galveston, four sons, Lawrence Elfstrom Jr. of Alta Loma, Ronnie J. Elfstrom of Glaveston, Floyd Charles hinney of La Marque, and Archie Earl Phinney of Austin; four sisters, Mrs. Maurice Killian and Mrs. Chris Tulp, both of Texas City, Mrs. John Parker of Alta Loma and Mrs. Edward Warren of Galveston, and 11 grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Maurice Killian, Criss Tulp, Raymond Elfstrom, Manual Syers, David Ray, T. A. Houston. Honorary pallbearers are J.C. Ray, Sr., Dan Hartson, John Parker, Eddie Waren, Louis Margot.
