MISS McNARY TO BE BRIDE NEXT SUNDAY
The approaching marriage of Miss Dorothy Gayle McNary, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.K. McNary, Route 2, and Wendell Jay Evans, Dallas, Tex., was announced Saturday evening at a birthday dinner held at the McNary home. The affair honored Dorothy G. McNary, her fiancé, a dn Morris Pritchard, whose birthday occurs in February.
As the cake was cut the news, “Dorothy Gayle and Wendell Jan Evans, Feb. 17” was revealed on a card.
Other guests were Mrs. Ada G. Heath and daughter, Gayle, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon McNary and Mary L. McNary.

Mrs. Wendell Evans
Garland, Texas-- Funeral services for Mrs. Wendell Evans, 41, of 3125 Maple, a Kirby Albright Real Estate Co. employee, will be held at 11:30 am Monday in Restland Memorial Chapel in Dallas. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Evans died here Friday.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Garland, Order of the Eastern Star, Garland Parent-Teachers Association, and Bussy Football Parents Club.
Survivors: Husband; two sons, Virgil Evans and Ray Evans of Garland; parents, Mr. And Mrs. Clarence McNary of Ohio; a brother, Clarence G. McNary of Garland, and three sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Kline and Mrs. Louise Middy of Ohio and Mrs. Gayle A. Lund of Pennsylvania.
