Utica Sunday Tribune April 17, 1904
At his home, 54 Broadway, Sunday, occurred the death of Daniel R. Overacker after an illness of five months. He was born September 17, 1825 in Mohawk and most of his life had been passed there. His trade was that of a machinist. About nine years ago he came to Utica with his family and for the past four years had been a driver for Wellar’s Express. His survivors are his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Oretha Danechy of Chicago, and two sons, Floyd E. and Clyde H., both of Utica.
