Elsie M. Sixbey, age 87, beloved wife of the late Samuel R. Sixbey and resident of Ridgefield for the past 50 years, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, March 30. She was born in Jamestown, New York, on July 11, 1922, daughter of the late Emma and Benjamin Anderson.
Calling hours will be held at Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield, on Friday, April 2, from 7 to 9pm. Funeral services will be at Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church, 207 Main Street, Ridgefield, on Saturday, April 3, at 3pm.
