Notes for John S. CARY
Cary, John S. ALBANY -- John S. Cary, 80, passed away at the Julie
Blair Nursing Home on Friday, November 1, 2002. Born in Coeymans
Hollow, he was the son of the late Oscar and Edna Seaburg Cary. John
was a veteran of World War II serving his country as a sergeant in
the U.S. Army. Mr. Cary retired from Conrail after 30 years where he
worked as a brakeman. John had a great love for hunting and fishing.
Mr. Cary was the loving father of John J. Cary and Linda R. Cary. He
was the grandfather of Camille M. Jones, Sara Cary, Jason Cary, John
G. Calderelli; and great-grandfather of Joseph Calderelli. John is
also survived by his lifelong friend, Gerald Wisenburn; and a host of
other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by three sisters,
Julia Kelly, Ruth Colliton, Bertha McEwen; and his two brothers, Reid
and Kenneth Cary.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services on
Saturday, November 9 at the Chestnut Lawn Cemetery, New Baltimore at
11:00 a.m.
