Mary Fowler, b. Yorktown, NY, 14 Feb 1779, married Dec 31 1779, at Crompond, in Yorktown, SIMON WRIGHT, a farmer and shoemaker, son of Simeon and Esther Horton Wright of Yorktown, where he was born 14 Sept 1775 and settled at Cortlandt, NY. She died there on Feb 12, 1804 and was buried in the Presbyterian Churchyard at Crompond Corners. He married (2nd) 11 Nov 1806, Elizabeth Barton who was born 16 Aug 1775 and died 11 June 1837. He died, 30 Jan 1861 and was buried in the Cortlandt Cemetery, two miles north of Peekskill. He was the son of Jacob Wright, and g grandson of John Wright.
