Miss Margaret Canary, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Canary, and Gordon Volean, son of Mrs. Nettie Volean, Perth, were married last Saturday morning at 11 o’clock at the Baptist parsonage, Broadalbin, by the Rev. J.R. Mills.
Miss Georgianna Canary, sister of the bride acted as bridesmaid, while Norman Greenwood, Fonda, a cousin of the bridegroom was the best man.
Following the ceremony a dinner was served at the home of the birde. Later in the day Mr. and Mrs. Volean left on a wedding trip to Washington, D.C.
