PHILIP C. WHITE
Philip C. White died at Albany hospital Friday, Jan. 23. Born Dec. 31, 1884 at Keefer’s Corners in the Town of Coeymans, he was the son of Rebecca J. Pelton and Charles D. White. Jan. 19, 1905, he married Anna May Acker at the Methodist church, South Bethlehem. He was a farmer all his life and in 1957 came to Voorheesville to make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Earl Whitbeck.
Survivors include a brother, Charles D. White, Delanson; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Northrup of Feura Bush, Mrs. William Northrup of Ravena; 10 chilcren, Mrs. Harold Gregory, Mrs. Earl Whitbeck, Mrs. John Flansburg of Voorheesville; Mrs. William Morehouse, Ravena; Mrs. Clayton Van Patten, Sharon Springs; Mrs. Luther Williams, Ravena; Mrs. Donald Gombel, Selkirk; Reuben White, Schuylerville, Philip White, Glenmont, and Willard White, South Bethlehem. Twenty five grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Caswell Funeral Home, Ravena, with Rev. W. C. Taylor, pastor of Voorheesville Methodist church, officiating. Interment was in the Onesquethaw cemetery.
