Notes for Laura DAVIS
THE ALBANY EVENING JOURNAL, THURSDAY, OCT.10, 1912
BROWN-DAVIS
The marriage of Miss Laura Davis, daughter of Captain and Mrs. Ulster Davis of Rensselaer, and Arthur L. Brown, of Pittsfield took place yesterday afternoon at the home of the bride on Aiken avenue. The Rev. H. H. Murdock of Schenectady, former pastor of the First Methodist church, performed the ceremony. The bride wore crepe de dhine over white silk and she carried a shower bouquet of bridal roses. They were attended by Miss Clara Staley of Valatie, who wore a gown of white silk and carried a bouquet of roses, and Howard Hurtis of Poughkeepsie. A reception followed the ceremony. The home was tastefully decorated with palms and floral ornaments. Mr. Brown is connected with the Cornell line.
