Verga M. Westfall
Verga M. “Peg” Westfall, 84 of Wellington died Tuesday at Elms Convalescent Home in Wellington after a long illness.
Born in LaGrange, she had lived all of her life in the LaGrange and Wellington area.
Mrs. Westfall worked as a press worker for Accurate Electornics in Elyria.
She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Wellington.
Mrs. Westfall enjoyed traveling, quilting and camping.
Survivors include sons Alex Moran of Elyria, George “Butch” Moran of Elyria and John L. Westfall of Wellington; a daughter, Bessie Storrow of Wellington; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Forbush Regal of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy L., parents Burt Sigsbey and Bessie (nee Sprague) Westfall; brothers Fred Sigsbey, Harry Sigsbey, Otis Sigsbey and George Sigsbey, and a sister, Eva Weller.
There will be a private family visitation Friday and a general public visitation 2 to 5 pm Saturday with a 3 pm memorial service at Bessie Storrow’s house. 305 Courtland St., Wellington.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Cowling-Truman Funeral Home.
