William A. Tuck, well known barber dies after stroke
William A. Tuck, 73 of 44 Jordan Street died Tuesday, March 6, 1962 in University Hospital Syracuse after a short illness. He suffered a cerebral hemmorhage recently.
Mr. Tuck operated a barber shop here for about 46 years. He was a native of Clyde.
Surviving him are his wife, Mr. Harriett Sigsbee Tuck; two sons, Harold and William, both of Skaneateles, two daughters, Mrs. Edward Heffernan of New Woodstock and Mrs. Robert Toms of Oneida; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. today (Friday) at the Dell Funeral Home, East Genesee St. with the Rev. Bruce Burke, acting pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, assisted by the Rev. Raymond Cox, officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
