SELKIRK Catherine Ellen (Hotaling) Turner, 82, died Friday, August 6, 2004 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. Catherine was born on June 2, 1922, daughter of the late Frederick and Louise (Rowe) Charles. Survivors include daughters, Catherine (Franklin) Stalker of Selkirk and Glenna (Milton) Richardson of Freehold; grandchildren, Allen Hyserman, Glenna (Randall) Magee, Brian Hyserman Sr. (significant other, Shannon Andres), Kathleen (Peter) Maggio, Aleta (Jose) Saravia and Erick (Jill) Richardson; great-grandchildren, Joseph Kolanchick, Heather Maggio, Brian Hyserman Jr., Erin Magee, Katelynn Hyserman, Erick Maggio, Ryan Magee and Ireland Hyserman; great-great-grandchild, NaKya Kolanchick; sisters-in-law, Miriam Hotaling, Elizabeth Smith and Marion Hotaling; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews. Catherine was predeceased by husbands, Garrie E. Hotaling and George I. Turner Jr.; sisters, Viola Samuels and Laura Campione; brothers-in-law, Staats Hotaling, Joseph Samuels, John Campione, Arthur Smith and Donald Hotaling. Funeral services will be held 11:00 Monday morning, August 9, 2004 at the Babcock Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service starting at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Chestnut Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Catherine may be made to the Bethlehem Volunteer Ambulance Service, PO Box 246, Selkirk, NY 12158 or the charity of your choice.
