Albany County Wills The Last Will and Testament of Jonathan Prosser "Practioner of Physick" Recorded April 12, 1813 Written: March 9, 1811
To Son Benjamin: the farm on which I now live in the town of Coeymans Then the farm to go to my grandson John Prosser, son of Benjamin My son Jonathan Prosser My five daughters: Martha Ferris, Mable Jones, Mary Kanaday, Elizabeth Stover, and Sarah Willse Brother Joshua Prosser executor with neighbor David Lester
Sylvanus Ferris owes a debt of $33 from 1801 to be taken out of daughter Martha's portion.
"In the name of God Amen: I Jonathan Prosser of the town of Coeymans County of Albany and State of New York Practioner of Physick being in a state of health at this time and possessing my rational faculties in as Proper a manner as can be or as is usual to such advanced Period of Life nevertheless ___ according to the ordinary course of life or nature I must soon have done with the concerns of this world and exchange this for a better condition which I hope to enjoy through the mercy and Goodness of the Great Parent..."
