Nellie Pauline McGuire, 95, died Nov. 8, 2008, at the Ash Flat Nursing and Rehab Center in Ash Flat. She was born Dec. 3, 1912, at Simstown near Evening Shade, Ark., the daughter of Warren  Porter and Laura Elizabeth Sigsby.
She was a member of the Franklin Extension Homemakers Club for over 50 years.
She was a member of the Myron Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Linda Bailey and husband, Glenn of Ash Flat and Daisy Wolfenbarger and husband, Richard of Tulsa, Okla.; three grandchildren, Rick Wolfenbarger and wife Darlene of Tulsa, Okla., Sean Bailey and wife Bev of Mammoth Spring and Alicia McBryde and husband Clint of Ash Flat; seven great-grandchildren; and host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; and her husband, Don McGuire.
Funeral services were held Nov. 10 at the Myron Baptist Church located at Myron, Ark., with Free Clower and Clint McBryde officiating. Burial followed in the Godwin Cemetery located at Myron with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City, Ark.
Pallbearers were Rick Wolfenbarger, Sean Bailey, Clint McBryde, Ehren Hutsell, Kevin Reynolds and Scott Lambert.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Franklin Extension Homemakers Club.
