Miss Ruth Griffith is Bride in Madison
Madison-Miss Ruth Griffith, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Charles Griffith and Leonard Sigsbee, son of Mr. And Mrs. Jason Sigsbee were married Friday evening in the Methodist Church. The ceremony was performed before a shower of flowers by Rev. Ernest Bragg, the pastor
The couple was attended by Miss Marion Shelton and as maid of honor and the Misses Ruth Kingsbury and Eleanor Sigsbee, the latter a sister of the bridegroom and Mary McCabe, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Donald McCabe were flower girls. William Spooner, son of Mr. And Mrs. Stanley Spooner was ring bearer.

Ruth G. Sigsbee of Route 26, Hatch Lake, died Tuesday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital, Syracuse, after a brief illness.
A native of Eaton, Mrs. Sigsbee was a life resident of the Oriskany Falls and Eaton areas.
Surviving are her husband, Leonard; two daughters, Sallyanne Israel of Frederick, Va., and Nancylee McIntyre of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Barker-Burgess Funeral Home, Morrisville. Cremation will follow at the Chenango Valley Crematorium, Earlville.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, Cedar Street.
