Cleveland, Dec 7-Miss Esther Mumford, daughter of Mrs. Essie Mumford of Sherrill, was married to Robert M. Sigsbee of Madison, Dec 3, at Durhamville by Rev. George B. Bradley. The couple were attended by Miss Eleanor Sigsbee, sister of the bridegroom, and Robert Mumford, brother of the bride. Mrs. Sigsbee attended Sherrill High School and Central City Business school in Syracuse. The bridegroom attended Madison Central school.
Mr. And Mrs. Sigsbee will reside in Madison. The bride formerly lived in Cleveland.

Mrs. Esther M. (Mumford) Sigsbee, 91 of Montgomery St. passed away Friday, Dec 19, 2003 at the Crouse Community Center, Morrisville. She was born in Cleveland, NY on May 31, 1912, a daughter of Arthur and Essie Davis Mumford. She graduated from Sherrill High School and attended business school in Syracuse. On Dec 3, 1933 in Durhamville, she was united in marriage to Robert m. Sigsbee, a union of over 70 years. Mrs. Sigsbee was a devoted wife and mother whom at one time had volunteered at the VA Medical Center, Syracuse and the Madison County Health Clinic at the Madison County Office Building. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Madison, the American Legion Post #1556 of Madison Ladies Aux., where she had served as past president and also was a past president of the American Legion 6th District Ladies Aux.
Surviving are her husband, Robert, a son and daughter in law Donald M. and Margaret Sigsbee of Madison; a sister Louella Stanley of Batavia; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec 22, 2003 at 4 pm from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St. Hamilton. Interment will be held in the spring in Madison Village Cemetery. Friends are invited and may call Monday from 2 to 4 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
