Notes for Johannes OLIVER
According to Cuyler Reynolds in his books, Hudson and Mohawk Valley Families, page 1374:
John, son of Richard and Martha Bennoit Oliver was baptized October 6, 1738. He married Maritie Sixberry, January 16, 1758.
After pouring over thousands of records, I'm inclined to believe that this was the second error made by Reynolds.
1758. Jan. 13. After 3 B. Johannis Oliver, y.m., and Maritje Siksby, y.d., both of A. Co.
Johannes and Maria sponsored the baptism of their grandson, William Commons/Cummings on 23 May 1793
The marriage of their son, Jacob to Polly Oliver indicated that this family lived in the Feura Bush area, called Jersualem.
