Jacob Overacker Rose. Real Estate Dealer, of Big Rapids, was born in the town of Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County, New York, May 18, 1814. His parents were Elias and Eve (Overacker) Rose. Their family consisted of thirteen children; two sons and two daughters are yet living. Mr. Jacob Rose, the oldest child, received a common-school education; and, after his marriage, attended school three winters.
