A very pretty wedding occurred on Wednesday evening, March 18, the occasion being the marriage of Mary, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Baumis, to John Sitser, all of Ravena. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride’s parents at 7:30 p.m. The wedding march was played by Maggie Sitser. The bridal party entered the room, preceded by Miss Bessie Reynolds of New York, acting as flower girl and Miss Cora Sutton, maid of honor , and Mr. Loren Sitser, best man. The bride was attired in a white cashmere with lace and ribbon trimmings. She carried a bouquet of roses and smiflax. The flower girl wore white silk with lace and ribbon trimmings. Maid of honor wore light blue cashmere trimmed with white satin. The contracting parties stood on a beautiful white rug, while the ceremony was performed by Rev. R.N. Lewis, of Coeymans. The ceremony completed, congratulations were in order after which a sumptuous wedding supper was served. Mr. and Mrs. Sitser were the recipients of many beautiful and costly gifts. The happy couple followed by showers of rice, were conveyed to the depot where they left on the early train for New York.
