Kenneth W. Fink, 57, of Broadway died Saturday in Albany Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was born in Ticonderoga and lived in Rensselaer most of his life. Mr. Fink worked for the Rensselaer Department of Public Works for 35 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of the G.S. Mink and T. Claxton Hose Company 2 in Rensselaer. Survivors include a son, Robert K. Fink of Rensselaer; a daughter, Kimberly A. Fink of Rensselaer; his mother, Jennie Mae Hockler of Rensselaer; a sister, Marge Emory of Rensselaer; and two brothers, William Hockler of Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence County, and James Hockler of Troy.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the W.J. Lyons Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., with burial in Capital City Cemetery, East Greenbush.
Calling hours will be 4-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
