Notes for Charles Harvey MCNARY

Obituary: Coshocton Ohio Newspaper April 8, 1911
ROSCOE LAD IS VICTIM OF PNEUMONIA
Charles McNary, the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman McNary of Roscoe died at the family home last evening at 7:30 after a three week's illness of measles and pneumonia.
The little lad would have reached his seventh birthday in July; he started school last autumn, but was forced to be absent for some time on account of whooping cough. He had scarcely gained his usual strength when he was taken with a severe attack of measles terminating in pneumonia and after a brave and well fought battle for the past three weeks the little sufferer lost in the struggle when death released him from pain last evening.
In addition to the father and mother a brother Lester, aged 4 and a sister Grace, aged 1 year, survive. The child was the grand-son of C.A. McNary of this city.
The funeral service will be from the family home in Roscoe (the former M.G. Mack home) at o'clock Monday afternoon, the Rev. Whitehurst in charge, Interment will take place in Southlawn cemetery, Coshocton.
The pall-bearers will be chosen from the children of the Roscoe Schools. The lad was a pupil of Miss Grace Norris teacher of the Roscoe primary grade.
