Notes for Dorothy M. MCNARY

The marriage of Miss Dorothy McNary, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel McNary, of Averill Park. Harry Barnum, son of Mrs. ? Barnum of Averill Park took place Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 o’clock at the Eagle Mills Methodist church. The Rev. John A. Lavender performed the ceremony. Mrs. Willard Vanderzee provided the wedding music.
The bride, who was attended by Miss Katherine McClellan of Sand Lake, wore a gown of white chiffon with a veil of rose point lace. She carried a shorter bouquet of bride roses andlillies of the valley. The maid of honor was dressed in blue chiffon with a hat of the same shade, and carried an arm bouquet of pink roses. Bertram McNary, brother of the bride, was best man for Mr. Barnum.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s Barents where the decorations were pink and while fall flowers.
Mr. and Mrs. Barnum left for a wedding trip to Lake Champlain, Montreal, Thousand Islands and Niagara Falls, the bride wearing an ensemble of dark green tweed. They will make their home at Averill Park.
