LEROY OVEROCKER West Windield--Leroy D. Overocker,79 of 362 Main St., formerly of Clinton, died yesterday November 20, 1974 in Faxton Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Vernon and attended it's schools. For many years he operated a dairy farm in the Clinton area. Later he was a self-employed carpenter and contractor in Clinton, retiring in 1957. In 1916, he married Jennie Labe. She died in 1957. In 1963 he married Elizabeth Welch Hartinger. They lived at Canandarango lake 14 years. He was a member of the Clinton Fish and Game Club.The funeral will be at 11 Saturday from the Owens Funeral home,Clinton with burial in Kirkland Cemetery.Calling hours are 2-4 and 7-9 Friday.
