Notes for William BARTON
This William was originally presumed to be the son of Caleb, Sylvanus' brother. His placement as a child of Sylvanus and Sarah is also a presumption based on the name of William's first daughter, Sarah and deeds showing the transfer of property to William in 1838. Further, Caleb had only one son as evidenced by census reports from 1810-1840.
In 1850 William lived 4 households away from Sylvanus. Sylvanus being household #412 and William and Eveline being #416. Caleb was household #240.
