Notes for Arthur William PECK
Arthur became assistant band leader while in High School. Enlisted in the
Army, and was in an Army band, stationed at Washington, D.C., for a
number of years. Both sons were graduated from the Bronson High School,
at Wyoming. Buried at Wyoming, Iowa. Died of cancer, discovered too late.
Later, as he grew into manhood, Arthur worked in various stores as clerk,
then had his own store for many years, later closed it out and then was
with the Fishwild store until his death in the State Hospital at Iowa
City. At Iowa City he was secretary of the Cemetery Association, Town
Clerk, and held other positions of responsibility. They were members of
the Presbyterian Church.
