"The earliest known ancestor of the Dutchess Co. family was Hans emich, a baker
in Dreisen. Two of his children were:
Hans Veltin, confirmed as the s/o Hans on Easter 1675 aged 17 years.
Hans Conrad, confirmed as s/o Hans on Easter 1675, aged 15 years."
