Abstracts of Wills Recorded at Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, NY
JACOB STOVER, of Beekman Precinct, 19 July 1768. Estate subject to life interest of wife Eve, to go to sons Adam, Martinus, and Valentine, daus. Eva, Margaret and Barbary, wife of Michel Overaker, and grandson Jacob, son of Jacob, dec'd. Executors: sons Adam and Martinus, wife Eve, and Arie Delong. Wit: James Burtch, George McCarthy, William Humphrey. Will produced in court 6 Sept., 1779. Probated 5 Feb., 1781.
Naturalized in Dutchess Co. on 3 May 1755 along with Michael and Wendell
Overacker, and John Backus.
