Notes for Solomon PALMER
We have placed Solomon as a son of Jonathan although there seems to be no
connecting proof other than that they were in the same places at the same
time. Solomon was in Dutchess Co. when Jonathan was there and also in
the old Town of Coxsackie going there about the same time that Jonathan
moved there and residing nearby in the same general location. The names
of Solomon's children give us no clue, nor have we found any place of
burial for him or his wife. His son John S. moved to Lysander, Onondaga
Co., NY where two of Jonathan's children had located. Therefore we
believe that we are correct in calling him a son of Jonathan.
