Notes for James M. MEAD

The children, Alrie and Milton are not verified as children in this family.
They were found living closely to James And Mary in the 1840 census for
Florence, Erie Co., Ohio. Their ages and their proximity to James is the only
clue to their relationship.
The 1900 census for Van Buren, Wayne Co., MI in which their daughter, Aurilla
is listed as head of household indicates that James was born in CT and Mary Ann
in NY. I believe this to be accurate information, and the information on her
death certificate confused.
